Current delivery situation

We have been struggling with procurement of electronic parts for quite some time now. The Covid pandemic combined with the current events in Ukraine further aggravate this situation resulting in severely increasing prices and delivery times. We must expect that the extending delivery times as well as the rising costs of raw materials, primary materials and logistics will also affect us at Messerschmitt. We are continuously working on optimising and securing transport, capacities and the supply of materials and components. Despite all our efforts, we cannot fully exclude the possibility of shortages and delays.

In this light, we ask our clients:
Please, make sure to plan foresighted and place orders of spare parts and consumables early.

Change in leadership at Messerschmitt Systems

As of this year, Dr.-Ing. Jörg Teunissen and Markus Schiefer have taken on management from Eduard Sworski.

Dr.-Ing. Jörg Teunissen from the city of Bielefeld has been appointed as new CEO. With manifold managing experience in the fields of technology, product management, sales/marketing, customer support, human resources as well as internationalization and digitization, the graduate Doctor of Electrical Engineering brings the perfect profile to lead Messerschmitt into a sustainably successful future.

“It is our clear goal to progress digitization and internationalization at Messerschmitt. We want to continue developing the company and its product range in terms of both technology and corporate culture – in order to strengthen our market position and secure stable jobs on a long-lasting basis.”, says Jörg Teunissen.

As our new CFO, Markus Schiefer will be responsible for controlling, financing and organizational subjects. Previously working in the electronic sector in Stuttgart, the new task at Messerschmitt is also a return home for the Nuremberg native. Marcus Schiefer’s expertise and his executive experience in the fields of accounting, taxes and consolidation build an appropriate skill set for scaling up the company with steady hand.
