L'Ambassade de Katarzyna, Svilengrad, Bulgaria
The boutique hotel “L’Ambassade de Katarzyna” combines elegance and state-of-the-art technology in picturesque Bulgaria. What is required is an RMS system that blends in with the elegant ambience of the hotel while offering security and intuitive operability. The solution: customized access and room management systems from MESSERSCHMITT Systems, that enhance the hotel concept with functionality, design and German quality.
About the hotel
For wine connoisseurs, the Upper Thracian Plain is one of the most important wine-growing regions in southern Bulgaria. The Katarzyna Estate vineyard opened in 2006 in the heart of these picturesque surroundings. Its award-winning wines are produced on an area of 750 hectares using classic technology and predominantly by hand. Since October 6, 2023, the luxurious boutique hotel “L'Ambassade de Katarzyna” has been inviting guests from all over the world to spend time there and relax, not only for the special wines, but also for the region. Whether ambience, views or cuisine: the iconic and prize-winning wines of its wine cellar are reflected in the unique character of the hotel.
Task
The rooms – including the access and room management systems – should be as characterful and unique as the wine and the setting. These should not only blend seamlessly into the ambience, but also allow guests secure access and intuitive control of lighting, curtains and temperature depending on the season. That is why the decision was made in favor of customized solutions “made in Germany” by MESSERSCHMITT Systems, which were able to score in terms of quality, function and design. Together with the Bulgarian sales partner Eurodesign Systems LTD, the project will finally be successfully implemented from December 2022 to November 2023.
